There is no clear path to entrepreneurship, but at the eBridge Center for Business & Commercialization, we’re changing that. We seek to be the "entrepreneurial bridge" for startups and legacy businesses to scale and commercialize their product or service on a massive scale.
We're mobilizing the next generation of entrepreneurs and equipping them with the skills and resources they need to create jobs, access capital, and scale commercially. We are focused on mobilizing the human capital of our community, commercializing scalable businesses, and establishing entrepreneurial equity in developing and advancing an open and inclusive ecosystem for all entrepreneurs throughout Brownsville and the Rio Grande Valley.
This center is only possible thanks to the partnership between the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Entrepreneurship & Commercialization Center, City of Brownsville, United States Economic Development Administration, and the Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council.
The center includes an InBIA soft landing designation, business incubation programming by UTRGV ECC, a U.S. Patent Trade Resource Center, the Small Business Development Center, the Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center, Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Veterans Business Outreach Center, Nonprofit Resource Center, the Blueprint Lab Prototyping Space for research and development of emerging industries, training space for up to 120 individuals, dedicated desks and private offices, and home to the StartUp Texas Accelerator Program.
